Shine Club for after school childcare is available every morning and night. Shine Club staff can do pick ups from clubs but this must be pre-booked via our School Gateway payment system.
Some of our clubs are hosted by staff from school as well as external partners and have been planned to give children of all ages (from Year 1 - Year 6) access to a range of experiences, including sporting activities. Irish dancing however is open to children from Reception age and above. At the end of the half term, some clubs may change in age range to allow other year groups the opportunity to take part, and our clubs always fill up fast!
Below is a list of the activities taking place. An email will be sent out for each after school club to parents of children from the relevant classes each half term and these clubs will require you to register your child’s interest via a Google Form and external clubs. (Lunchtime clubs will be explained to the children and sorted by classroom teachers.) Many of our clubs will start the first week back after a half term but some do not start until week 2 and often all clubs will finish the week before any holidays.
*Some clubs have a small charge - this is to cover the cost of the external coaches or where specialist equipment is needed.
